I took this picture on January 26, 2004, the day after my co-worker found Brittany
playing in traffic.  I was boarding her at the time, hoping to locate her owners.

She'd slipped out of her collar while on a walk and headed for the hills.
Someone must have picked her up and called Animal Control.  We were
worried silly, but everything turned out all right in the end.

I was trying to take a picture of her pretty face and
gorgeous eyes, but got this rather silly close-up instead.
