On June 25, we welcomed two new additions to our household: brother and sister kittens Sophia (right) and Ceylon (left). 

We knew we wanted to adopt a kitten before the end of the summer, but hadn't planned on adopting two or adopting quite so soon. However, when kittens need homes, they need homes.

I finally got around to creating pages to house pictures I've taken of various insects and arachnids over the years.

We lost Goo to Multiple Myeloma on June 24, 2010. The void in our household left by Square's departure is now a chasm. 

I'm sad to report that Square lost her year-long battle with cancer on May 18, 2010, leaving a large void in our household.
