We found Ivan on June 15, 2013 and added him to the pack. Yep, he looks very much like Dmitri.

H.P. (left) and Esmée joined our family on April 30, 2013 after we found them alone in the desert near our place.

Clyde came to live with us on March 30, 2013 following Lysander's death. Josephine, our female goose, was distraught about being without a mate and we were fortunate to find her a very handsome one so quickly.

Lysander collapsed and died suddenly on March 28, 2013. 

I suspect the cause was heart failure related to old age. He was always the gentleman and will be greatly missed by us and by his mate, Josephine.

Beatrice Isabella, who despite the name was a male turtle, died during hibernation of an unknown cause. He had not shown any signs of illness going into hibernation or when I checked on him during hibernation. I found him dead about 45 minutes before Lysander died.

He was about 17 years old and had been with our family for 16 of those years. It's going to be tough not having him follow me around the yard anymore, begging for worms.
